Checking through OpenRouter.
OpenRouter is itself a gateway, which makes it both a handy reference and a fair thing to check.
§1Setting it up
- Pick the OpenRouter preset, or enter
https://openrouter.ai/api/v1yourself. - Model ids look like
vendor/model, exactly as OpenRouter lists them.
§2Testing one host
OpenRouter can hand one model to many hosts. To test a single one, put its slug under Pin provider. Fallbacks are switched off for that run, and the result shows who actually answered.
§3The rate limit
New accounts are held to 20 requests a minute per model; we hit that limit ourselves. Set the speed to 20 a minute, or 9 a minute when A and B are the same model on one account, since both sides then share the limit.
