Showing someone what you found.
A result is more useful when someone else can open it, and more honest when they can run it again.
A finished check offers Copy share link. The whole result is packed into the part of the address after the #, which browsers do not send to any server. Whoever opens it sees the same report and can run it again with their own keys in one click.
That # is the one place this site uses one on purpose. Everything else has an address of its own.
Exactly as much as the person who sent it. We did not run it and cannot check it, and the page says so in its first line.
Print or save as PDF lays the report out for a page, without the form and the buttons.
It runs the real check against two pretend gateways that live inside the page. Their answers are made up, every demo result is marked as such, and nothing is sent anywhere.
A link to the check page can carry the endpoints, never the keys: ?a_url=…&a_model=…&b_url=…&b_model=…, with optional a_provider, a_style and the same for b.
