Models change without a note.
The name on an endpoint stays the same while the model behind it is updated, retuned or replaced. Nobody sends a notice. Tellstone keeps the first tells it recorded for each endpoint and holds every later batch against them.
§1The logone block per batch
| Endpoint | First record | Every batch since | Latest distance | Standing |
|---|
A dark block is a batch that no longer matched the first record. One odd batch in a hundred is expected by chance, so a single dark block reads as "watch". Two in a row read as "changed".

- "Changed" means the endpoint stopped answering like its own first record. It can be a new model version, a retune, a different host behind a gateway, or a new hidden prompt. The log shows that it moved, not why.
- An endpoint that fails this log will also fail Unmask against its old record, until the record is renewed.
